Yea we hold the entire world hostage and threaten to attack or starve them if they don't use our currency. We did it with oil in the past by ensuring that you can't buy it with our dollars, which means you have to trade with us to acquire dollars, which leads to a massive trade imbalance because we probably won't want what you're offering unless it's dirt cheap, so we force them to devalue their own currency and labor to get the dollars to get the oil to modernize their country.
Clearly we are the role models of the entire world and everyone should love us for it.
