I'm also not sure if it will still be possible with the move to UIA & how headers have worked with that so far: NVDA takes table header row / first column as headers without needing to set them manually - I suspect this works better in the "majority" of cases (once people are familiar with Excel tables), but may be more restricting in some cases).
