@alexlomas @ben If you want to cost them money, make sure you take your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service. It doesn't cost you anything but each complaint (above a certain number) costs the insurer £550, and the insurer is bound by any decision the Ombudsman makes (up to a limit for compensation, but it's six figures so unlikely to apply here).
Also Mx is on the industry standard list of titles (sadly proprietary so I can't link to it).
