Scenario #1 here is more or less the "Wakanda model", still peppered with obsolete architectural and tech concepts that are already unrealistic. It's humanity (well, rich countries most of all) still hanging on to the Bargaining stage of grief, doing our damnedest to delay the Acceptance stage and the start to the deep rework and redesign needed for a realistically sustainable future, i.e. Scenario #3 (not the best image though, way way too many skyscrapers).
