2/2 other then that it is useable. More usable than I remember it to be. To be fair, it was 3 years ago I last used desktop Linux and in the mean time I only used server Linux stuff.
What I do notice is the tri state of the software you have either: commandline tools that are slick af like GIT. Software supported by big corporations like Firefox, kicad, etc. or medium software which is a pain in the butt.
I wish medium software had some kind of UX engineer of vision how to build the UX. Because the user interface is terrible. I like Inkscape, love it even but compared to illustrator....i just miss so much ease of use. I wonder if i should just contact the Inkscape people and say "look here is 25 euros a month, you need the money more than Adobe. But please please please fix the damned UX"
