@HendrikLinde @Flaky The update fixed all the problems I was having! After the update, I got the prompt to give permissions to the app (which I didn't initially get due to the bug you found) and then... it works!
Even the ListenBrainz submissions work properly now; it shows in both the Now Playing column AND the history (where before it only showed in NP)
