A group of us, all trans women, went and did something outrageous yesterday. Something to demonstrate that we will not be quiet and we will continue to do what we always do.
Yes, we went out for drinks and dinner and shockingly used the toilets. This act of subversion went completely unnoticed by the others at the restaurant who treated us like human beings.
Another act of subversion will occur tomorrow when I will got to the recycling center and the local shop to buy bread and milk. I suspect the women at the till will say hello in a cheerful manner and we will have a short conversation in Swedish.
Another win for TRAs.
