@klizana @jezlyn I used to love Flickr so much until they changed the user interface. I’ve kept pro as it’s still the cheapest unlimited storage and I very occasionally browse it, but it’s just not the same

@jezlyn @klizana It’s been so long ago I’m not sure. I can’t even remember what it was like before. I think both. This was in 2013 I think if I check my first pictures on instagram. That’s when a lot of people left Flickr and went to instagram

@FPLover @klizana I’m pretty sure the app has changed, though I still think it could be better. The website feels like it could use a refresh. To me it feels like “old web”, which has its positives and negatives. The forums look and feel dated, especially. Regardless, I much prefer it over IG and some other newer photography social sites like 500px. (1/2)

I feel like there is room for photographers who don’t just make immaculately framed and edited pictures, whereas a site like 500px feels “serious”, immaculate and sterile. I love Flickr’s instant film groups, and various P&S groups, and other experimental digital and film groups. (2/2)
