[#]Spotted While Recently Roaming in Aotearoa #NewZealand

At a bakery: Twin small humans (4?) are VERY excited to help their mum choose a cake. They have MANY opinions on the matter. Their mood goes party-time when the server produces a jar of wonky biscuits for a sneaky free treat.

At a department store: A woman (20s?) guides her nan (80s?) to a wall of socks. She says: "Look at the pretty colours Nan. Take all the time you want." Her nan seems a little fuzzy on things, but it's obvious socks make her happy. They're soon caught up picking the nicest ones.

A gangly teen is waiting for a bus when his necklace drops to the ground. A woman (50s?) radiating no-nonsense mum vibes picks it up and offers to help when he has a bit of trouble reclasping it himself. (He bashfully accepts. Success in seconds.)

In a cafe: A woman with a booming voice is talking a friend. She says: "There's a lot of self-imposed torture on creative talent and we're all just trying to strive for something attainable." She punctuates this by declaring she needs more coffee.

A husky is being coaxed out of his human's car in front of a dog groomer. As he howls about the trials and tribulations that he is about to undergo with extra WOEE WOEE, his human rolls her eyes, laughing: "You're SUCH a drama queen. SO Un-necessary!"

Any typos spotted in this post are a breed of Dramatic Howler that objects most strongly whenever their em-dashes are trimmed. If spotted, please give them a wonky biscuit as a treat.
