(et en plus, pas réveillée que j'étais, j'avais même pas compris que tu réagissais au terme "connerie" donc je ne comprenais pas trop le pourquoi de la remarque. Oué, j'avoue, j'utilise encore souvent "connerie" et "connard/connasse" mais j'évite en général "con" sauf pour des citations du type Tontons Flingueurs ;-P)

@alex Si le langage avait une standard library qui permet de formater des dates et de padder des chaînes depuis plus de deux semaines, il existerait moins de ces packages débilités, aussi.

@oscherler Et une VRAIE gestion des classes, des espaces de noms, un vrai langage objet, typé, avec une héritage réellement fonctionnelle...

Le pire, c'est qu'il y a bien eu une version d'ECMAScript qui contenait tout ça (ECMAScript 4), mais ce fut torpillé par l'alliance Microsoft-Yahoo, à l'époque où IE était en position dominante.

Tout ça pour voir une version repompée d'ES4 par MS et qui a réussi à faire croire que son langage (TypeScript) est une véritable innovation.
