Yeah, it's bad. They were really springing back for a minute there...

I see them all the time, but I'm within a couple miles of an overwintering site. Staggering to think how precious each one is.

Yeah, Pacific Grove (and also Santa Cruz) are monarch butterfly migration locations.

Their population decline, is not a good sign. ;(
