@hankg @Theblueone @astroPug in Britain there was once a time only schoolboys (up to early teens) would wear shorts all year round, adult men wore long trousers and even today wearing shorts to work would be unusual unless you are a postman or working in construction or other outdoor work during particularly warm weather..
