To split the cost of fuel, about 40 years ago, 5 of us drove 3 hours on a prairie highway through a winter blizzard, with snow drifting across the road like flowing water.

The cops were closing the road behind us. None of us could afford a motel, so we kept rolling.

I was counting the many seconds that we couldn't see the road, let alone the lines painted on the road.😱

It's a good thing the roads are straight as a ruler because we were driving 100 kmh.
