C'est gravissime, la CDC (le centre fédéral du décisionnel en santé) est en train d'ordonner à toutes les maisons d'éditions scientifiques des Etats-Unis d'Amérique la rétractation, la révision et la censure de tout les papiers contenant les termes "Gender, Transgender, Pregnant Person, Pregnant People, LGBT, Transexual, LGBT Non-Binary, NonBinary, Assigned Male At Birth, Assigned Female At Birth, Biollogically Male, Biollogically Female."

En gros, si ça passe, alors toute cette recherche partira en fumée. C'est l’administration qui fait son premier grand autodafé.

If this is not total censorship, I don't know what is :"to ensure that no “forbidden terms” appear in the work" , work meaning any publication, including peer reviewed in non US jounals, it seems. “Gender, transgender, pregnant person, pregnant people, LGBT, transsexual, non-binary, nonbinary, assigned male at birth, assigned female at birth, biologically male, biologically female” . This basically stops any research on these topics!

@TehInitialBichette @academicchatter @olibrendel @boud Unbelievable! I would have hoped their First Amendment would prohibit this type of censorship? Or does that not apply because we are looking at a work artifact rather than a personal opinion?

@JonasHeidelberg @TehInitialBichette @academicchatter @olibrendel @boud the first amendment would almost certainly protect against this, but the constitution is just a piece of paper, and just about everyone in government either doesn‘t care or is actively pushing for this :/
