It feels a bit weird tonight not needing to write a blog post after writing at least 15,000 words over the past 2.5 weeks.

I typed my posts using the Jetpack app on multiple mobile phones (my primary has charging issues) and publish them to my self-hosted WordPress instance.

I enjoy writing. Sometimes I'm totally exhausted, but I know I enjoy looking back on my travels so writing my travel blog is a gift to my future self.

@allrite That is 100% true. When I did month-long backpacking trips during university I kept fairly detailed travel diaries, and now many decades later they are amazing to read.
