It is clear that there is nothing normal about our current times. It is also clear that attempting to be polite and civil didn't work. Using big words didn't work. Appealing to senses didn't work. Bringing a squirt gun to a bazooka fight didn't work.

While you were snoozing on the beach, rational people are talking about #resistance and reading the Simple Sabotage Field Manual. You need to catch up.

• We are fighting against a coup. Act like it.

• No more euphemisms. Key phrases: "they lie ...", "it's a coup ...", "absolutely not qualified".

• The next D that says "reach across the aisle" needs to get punched. We should be putting up sandbags and tank traps to protect ourselves from the aisle.

• The only vote for the next 4 years needs to be "No".

• Hang the Project 2025 document around the neck of every official and R.

• Every EO and every admin move needs to result in dozens of lawsuits. Use their strategy against them.

• Have a running score card for promises made vs. delivered. Economy, egg prices, end of Ukraine war, ...

• Dump the suits and ties, stop talking to DC pundits and start the constant outreach to all of those people affected by the actions of the Rs.

• Follow r/LeopardsAteMyFace, no really. They have some great threads on the things that are backfiring.

• Start coming up with new nicknames and shitposts that make fun of the administration. Distract them and make them respond to "Swasticars", "Dumb Donold", "Orange Orangutan" ...

• Do not pull punches. Call them what they are: Nazis and Fascists.

• Listen to AOC, she's got the right tone. Do more of that.

• Call out the flaccid press that have already caved (NYT, LAT, WaPo, ...).

We are in a civil war. Be a Zelinsky.
