Despite my growing Evercade collection, Alwa's Awakening has the distinction of being the first Evercade game I actually finished!
I really enjoyed it. I might try the sequel on Steam.

@SuperSelena64 I've only played the beginning but it's definitely one I want to get back to. Much as I love the old stuff, the indies are my favorite thing on Evercade. I just preordered Indie Heroes 4.
(and I snagged Alwa's Legacy in a Steam sale awhile back; haven't gotten around to playing it yet.)

@Thad I agree, Evercade is an outstanding platform for Indies.
I just ordered a copy of Home Computer Heroes of indie games for DOS, Amiga and C64 for it.
Excited to check it out

@SuperSelena64 Home Computer Heroes is great!
I don't think it's got any DOS games, though. IIRC it's C64, Amiga, and one MSX2 game.
I don't think they've released any DOS games on Evercade as yet, for whatever reason. The Duke Nukem collection has native ports of the first two games and the PlayStation version of Duke3D.

@Thad Then I stand corrected!
But my excitement remains! It looks really good
