I could 100% see, in the next few years, a hardware manufacturer getting in trouble for bricking devices by installing the driver for the new generation, so customers have to go buy the new one.

@mcc I canโt get over the choice of quote. It better be โthe best there isโ it costs $3000. Itโs not even positive, itโs just a statement of fact. It only has to be 1% better than the 4090 for that to be true, the rest of the quote could easily be โthe best there is, but absolutely not worth the moneyโ.
