There has been a growing 10+ year trend here to adopt a vegan diet. Some people with health issues discovered that cutting out meat improved chronic conditions.

But apparently there is also a newer trend among a subset of these new vegans to start eating meat again because their health went into the toilet after a while.

Shockingly, there seems to be a level of individuality to health and diet, and one size does not fit all.

@Kierkegaanks I ate meat as a child then went vegetarian at age 9 (long before it was acceptable let alone fashionable lol) until college. One day I felt like eating meat again so I slowly reintroduced a little of it into my diet. I'm sure my body was telling me what I needed each time.

I would wish for everyone to be able to focus enough on the sometimes subtle messages their bodies are telling them 👍

@3x10to8mps or at least listening to their bloodwork lol

I’m sure the average healthy person would do better if they ate more like poor mediterraneans did 50 years ago (ie smaller portions with less animalic protein than now without excluding it, and more vegetables and legumes in the same meal)
