the way i've heard it it's something akin to spanish and italians, or portuguese and spanish, sort of understanding each other- and stubb is a swedish-speaking finn. so i think they'd get across rudimentary concepts, but not be able to engage in high level fast speech

but i think this was just a nice photo shoot, not a working session. or it could have been with interpreters and staff just out of the picture or in another room- apparently this is Frederksen's dinner table at her house

@benroyce @dougfir It might have been a friendly meal before or after a more formal meeting.

Now I want to know who took the photo. Was it a staff member or someone in the family? That would tell us a lot about the meal.
