1. Not needing to go out on a dank and drizzly day.

2. Those cooking activities I've been mentioning today mean all I had to do today was heat things up for lunch and stuff a couple of warm tortillas for dinner.

3. The weather forecast for the next several days neatly sequesters rain to nighttime hours, when I wouldn't be going out anyway. (Sorry if you must, dear readers.) Hoping to go on at least one nature walk this weekend.

On Friday night, Donald Trump fired 17 inspectors general.

Inspectors general (IGs) are independent watchdogs whose job is to root out waste, fraud, and corruption in the agencies they oversee.

Trump’s firing of the IGs was illegal—a president must give Congress 30 days’ notice before firing Senate-confirmed IGs.

Even Senator Lindsey Graham has acknowledged Trump violated the law, and several Republican senators have criticized Trump’s action.

1. Bright sunny mornings that make you think the weather is warmer than it actually is. By the time I got outside and realized it wasn't that warm, I was dressed and had shoes on, so I just went ahead with my errands.

2. Started a new book. Not sure this will be my main read, but it's interesting. Fiction for a change.

3. Tried a new recipe that turned out very tasty.

1. A bird in the house! Able to get it out quickly, with no harm to bird, me, or home.

2. Change in plans left me near some shops I haven't visited in a while. Scored some bargains--nothing necessary, but useful.

3. Pizza for lunch. Not good for the waistline, but I love it. (Yeah, like I have a waistline!)

Experiment: Going forward I will try to share potentially uncomfortable stuff (read: US politics) only between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm my local (EST) time. Otherwise I'll try to share neutral to good. Expect nature photos (my own and boosts), cats, etc., cheery humor, books, sports, food, and all the things.

Petition shares by me will be mostly 11:15 am, as usual. Shares of others' could be at other times.
