@requiem fair point, now that I think about it, an old desktop I used as my first server, as well as my original Xbox, have similarly "jank" cabling. The ol' "if it works, it works" ethos applies well here!

@kellenoffdagrid I may have mentioned this in another thread, but there is a bit of magik going on here as well.
Many times I would tidy-up the wiring only to have something fail shortly thereafter necessitating the un-tidying of the wires. After awhile it seems that as soon as I cleaned things up something else would break, so I stopped cleaning them up π
