In the winter months, the air is cold and dry. We run a couple of humidifiers non-stop in our flat, and in the evenings we have a kettle on the stove on low, contributing to the moisture. Still, my hair stands on end when I change my clothes, and when I kiss my partner sometimes there's a zap of static electricity, particularly when she's wearing a certain fleece jumper.
In the spring the air warms and gains in humidity and generally feels more pleasant. But our romance loses its spark.
