Time to update my #introduction with an addendum to what's in the profile. I try not to discuss #politics in terms of us vs. them partisan politics. But in light of recent events, I will be boosting news concerned human rights (including but not limited to health care and trans rights), normalization of bigotry, destruction of the environment, and dismantling of protections related to the above topics and others.

In the winter months, the air is cold and dry. We run a couple of humidifiers non-stop in our flat, and in the evenings we have a kettle on the stove on low, contributing to the moisture. Still, my hair stands on end when I change my clothes, and when I kiss my partner sometimes there's a zap of static electricity, particularly when she's wearing a certain fleece jumper.

In the spring the air warms and gains in humidity and generally feels more pleasant. But our romance loses its spark.

Prepped for a ride today and then gave up -- too much wind. (And yes, I'm just being a wimp.)
