@req you know musk and walt are actually very similar in a lot of ways in that they're both autistic and mentally unwell and very racist and ordered other actually skilled people to do all of the technical and difficult work, but I think the major difference between them is that Walt was motivated by a great mania to push the limits of what was possible with machinery, and elon is motivated almost exclusively by insecurity. Elon has no vision, drive, or creativity, which are the only things that Walt had that actually made him special in any particular way. Walt was in it for the love of the game and elon is in it so people think he's cool

@req I mean I don't think Walt was very good at curating his image. Too be honest. And a lot of his inner crew snitched on him after he died. A lot of the crazy shit we learned about the animatronic Lincoln was from them and how much they hated working on it and how much they worked them to death. Like Disney hated unions so much that at one point in Lincoln's development he took the body and hid it in a room and only let his most trusted inner circle work on it. Nothing we know about his mania and his drive is from a positive light
