Old headframe at the Alabama-Mohawk Gold Mine (c.1930s?) in the Alabama Hills, Lone Pine, California. The snow covered Eastern Sierra, including Mt. Whitney at 4,421m (14,505ft), are seen in the distance. Mt. Whitney peak is the right "saw tooth" seen over the center right part of the headframe. If you trace a straight line up from the top of the left side of the diagonal broad on the headframe that's Whitney peak.
