Some days, I’m so enamoured with my kid and wish they’d never grow up.

Some days, I look forward to the days ahead, where we can play Nintendo together, or enjoy some fancy food, or hike (without me carrying them on my back).

And some days, I wish they were a teenager already so I can lock myself in a room for a year and build a goddamn operating system.

@samir build an OS with them? or finally have the time to yourself to do something for you? Spoiler: you spend all your time with teenagers, too!

@emma I’m basing this on me as a teenager, who would be very happy to avoid my parents for a year. 😛

But I would accept a teenager who wants to build one together!
