Inspect a pube, closely. If you have none of your own, I'd suggest seeking permission before using someone else's.

I'm fairly sure that they are largely 'flat'.

Strangely, I just went to Wiki and looked up "pubic hair", and I did not see any reference to pubes being 'flat' or 'not'.

So, children, your homework for this evening is to measure your own pubes (should you have any, of course). Are they 'round' or are they 'flat'?
