80 years ago today my grandfather was tortured to death in #Dachau. It took the #nazi's a week to kill him in a combination of starvation, lack of medical treatment and physical discomfort. Along with a comrade he founded the local chapter of the #onafhankelijkheidsfront (independance front) He was a (free) #socialist, #TradeUnionist, #antifaschist #anticolonial activist. He was a convicted #terrorist under #German occupation law.
