One of the HUGE problems preventing us from having an active fundamental physics is that physicists simply DO NOT UNDERSTAND the following—

ONCE A PHYSICS PROBLEM IS STATED AS A WORD PROBLEM, IT IS NO LONGER PHYSICS, BUT MATHEMATICS.

This confusion is apparent in failure to solve the two channel optical Bell test without quantum mechanics. It is a simple problem, but physicists do not see they can do an angular transformation without actually rotating the apparatus.

If they doubt it, they can run a computer program as an experiment. It will confirm the result. But physicists also no longer run simple experiments before inventing bold (and in this case false) hypotheses such as "non-locality".
