@pippa One of my grade school teachers told me I was "accident prone." I'm special, you see.

@fgbjr @pippa My elementary school teacher wanted to get rid of me by transferring me to a nearby school for children difficult to educate. My father brushed her off, telling her that she should consider changing her job if she can't handle me 😂

@KuramaSuben @pippa 👍 That's nice. "But you're a teacher, right? I mean, that's your whole job, isn't it?"

@KuramaSuben @pippa (Our dad wasn't like that, mind, much to the cost of my dyslexic eldest brother. But I have a very active fantasy life.)

@fgbjr @pippa I didn't have a learning disorder, but I could be a jerk towards people who were supposed to be an authoritative figure without letting me feel that authority. My elementary school teacher fell exactly into that category. So, in class I frequently demonstrated a failure to follow orders. I often was very disruptive, too. This took a 180° turn upon entering comprehensive school at grade 5. There I had wonderful teachers that I could respect. A turn from jerk to nerd, if you like 😂
