Reeves is one of those mad economists who believes we can have infinite growth on a finite planet. Growth uses more energy, more resources and puts more waste into the ground, the water and the air. It doesn't take a genius to see that that cannot go on forever. The choice therefore is to plan for degrowth, conservation and fair distribution, which politically we are incapable of doing, or just wait until mass extinctions do the degrowth for us. Painfully.
