Here's the thing, I asked for something simple (but a bit vague, sure) and in about 60 seconds it generated enough code to keep me busy understanding and actually testing for... well... thousands and thousands of seconds.

d you didn't really give any requirements, so I'd say, yeah, it had to invent the requirements. The URL shortening seems understandable because the joke is sorta ruined if you can read the text on the URL.
