@humanhorseshoes Well, yes, but MotoGP are going there (🤞), we didn't do a MotoGP race last year, and it ticks off a country that we've never been to before.

Not cheap, though: at least €180 for three day tickets. I hope the rest of Hungary isn't so expensive.

@paul_edwin @motorcycles When is it on? You could stay along the lake in Székesfehérvár or Siofok or a resort town like them, the train to Budapest runs along the bottom of the lake so you don't really have to stay in Budapest.

@humanhorseshoes Already got accommodation booked, near-ish to the circuit, just trying to figure out if it's worth paying a premium for something other than the cheapest grandstands.

@paul_edwin @motorcycles Motorsport on a straight without a point of interest is pointless, you need either the entry or exit of a series of corners or a hairpin where you can see the riders otherwise it is a blur

This ain't my first rodeo.

I checked the circuit map to see which stands are near potentially interesting sets of corners, but it doesn't tell me about the elevation changes on the circuit or whether I can see over the infield to another set of corners.
