yikes. husband's sister's ex had a stroke last week. he's my age. and i'm not old! he had cholesterol issues in the past, but he had also developed heart/vascular problems after he got covid.

(he'll be ok, thankfully, but yeah a stroke at this age is. not.)

and i mean: in this country, you used to be able to see a cardiologist within a few weeks. now it's 6–9–12 months.
it is making people really sick and (almost) no one cares.
