Nach dem Anschlag von #Magdeburg habe ich für den #MDR zusammenzutragen versucht, welche polizeilichen Datenbanken Sachsen-Anhalts #Polizei bereits nutzt ("Die Daten sind vorhanden", sagt die @bfdi Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz, Louisa Specht-Riemenschneider).
Noch bessere Vernetzung soll mit dem Programm "Polizei 2020" kommen, technisch beim Bundeskriminalamt #BKA angesiedelt.

Das wurde vor ACHT (8) Jahren beschlossen ("Ist sooo kompliziert", heißt es; Beratungsunternehmen müssen helfen...) und sollte 2025 kommen. Jetzt wird es wohl 2030.
Es hat das Potenzial, #Datenschutz und Polizeiarbeit zu verbessern, sagt die Bundesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz.
Jetzt will Sachsen-Anhalts Landesregierung noch irgendwas in den Bundesrat einbringen. Und irgendwas wollen die Innenminister von Bund und Länder mit KI und Gesichtserkennung.

@Marcel So richtig hab ich noch kein Bild davon, was "Polizei 2020" eigentlich sein soll. Soweit ich weiss ist INPOL eine Webapplikation die es auch schon mind 20 Jahre gibt ? Dort kann man schon Deutschlandweit Daten abrufen. Zugangskonzept ist wenn man sich die Vorfälle anschaut eher mau.
Welche Daten sollen nun mit wem zusätzlich geteilt werden ? Es gibt ja jetzt schon ständig "Dateien" die hart an der Verfassungsgesetzgebung schrammen oder gar keine rechtliche Grundlage haben...

Nach meinem Verständnis nicht notwendigerweise "zusätzlich" sondern vor allem einheitlich geteilte Daten. Jedes Bundesland hat eine eigene IT Infrastruktur und so entstehen vielleicht Doppeleinträge und unvollständige Datensätze. Rechte- und Rollenkonzept lässt sich mit zeitgemäßer Infrastruktur auch besser bewerkstelligen. Das hilft denn auch bei der Rechtmäßigkeit

Das ist deutschlandweit dasselbe , ja. Rechte- und Rollenkonzept kenne ich nicht. Das Innenministerium in Sachsen-Anhalt war da wenig auskunftsfreudig. Hatte denen am Donnerstag ein paar Fragen geschickt, mit der Bitte, sie bis Montag zu beantworten. Die Antwort kam gestern nach 17 Uhr. Für Rückfragen ist dann im Alltag keine Zeit mehr, jedenfalls wenn man irgendwann mal was veröffentlichen will

Stimmt. Die Bundesdatenschutzbeauftragte sieht Polizei 2020 allerdings positiv. Gerade weil es auf einem technisch neueren Stand ist und sich datenschutzrechtlich sauber machen lässt...
