There are simply people who want to serve the public (all across the political spectrum, liberals conservatives whatever), and people who don't. Trump and his ignorant cult following are on the "don't" side of that equation, more akin to nihilists than conservatives. Blaming Democrats for Trumpies being nihilists is both counterproductive and stupid.
