@psneeze I just don't get why they are doing this now. The Minister of State in the Department of Taoiseach (Chief Whip) has always had a seat at cabinet, and we have had Super Juniors in almost every cabinet since Pat Rabbitte was elevated to that role as part of the Rainbow Coalition over thirty years ago.

@ccferrie They're doing it because Fintan O'Toole pointed out it contravenes the Constitution. It is illegal now and always was.

They didn't notice until O'Toole said it.
