@Newk I use Inleed.se for .net. No problems whatsoever so far, although I haven't exactly pushed their registrar offering to its limits. They also have Inleed.de which charges €7/year for .de and €11/year for .net (not sure if those are inclusive or exclusive of VAT). Might be worth a look.
