In Microsoft T-SQL, you start a database transaction using BEGIN TRANSACTION, which can be shortened to BEGIN TRAN to save a few characters (highly useful if you are using an ASR-33 or similar).
Why does it not accept BEGIN TRANS as an alternative?

Took a few slight (honestly!) adjustments to make it do what I wanted.
Still, on the whole, very much close enough in my opinion.
Yay!
I now have a script to normalize file names for Qobuz album purchase downloads. Now all I should need to do is dump all the files in a single directory and run a script, and it'll sort them out so I can simply drop them into my /music directory.
(Should work with music from other places too, but I'll need to verify metadata field names to be sure.)

A step that many can take, especially privately, is switch from Microsoft 365/Office to LibreOffice.
If you do, consider also setting up a recurring donation.
Just 0.1% (!) of Microsoft 365 users donating for LibreOffice what they are currently paying Microsoft could mean hundreds of people working on LibreOffice.

A reminder that alternatives do exist. Spotify is not the only music streaming service in the world. There are even alternatives which pay artists quite a lot better for streaming, to say nothing of ones which let you purchase music you like and keep it independent of where you purchased it from.
