If I'm making a threaded series of posts, where should I put my hashtags?

@ragman Think of hashtags as a call for attention. So if you want people to start at the beginning of your thread, put the hashtags in the first post. If each post deserves the same attention and you don't care where people come in, hashtag them identically.

I've started scattering hashtags throughout the thread, putting each hashtag on the most relevant post in the thread.

I think for what I want then, putting the tags on the first post makes sense.

Draws attention to the thread, but not to each message, which need to be read in order.

Also is what the (small sample size) poll is saying so far :)
