Wait, when people talk about "tank controls" in games, they actually mean... using left and right to turn around?

Why on earth call would you call this "tank controls" when it is like the one defining thing tank controls DON'T do?

@WAHa_06x36 Clarifying, using button to the sides of buttons to go forward and backward to turn rather than strafe, that’s now called “tank controls” in some circles?
