So on my work computer Youtube has no idea what I usually watch and is just recommending me random utter garbage, but it suddenly spat out this song, which I am now listening to and desperately trying to remember why I'd already heard it. Sure, it's the kind of thing I might know, but, why this specifically? Going somewhat mad.

This is bothering me a lot because tanks have a WEIRD control scheme, and that is what makes them interesting. And then some absolute bozo decides to use "tank controls" to describe the boring, plain version.

Wait, when people talk about "tank controls" in games, they actually mean... using left and right to turn around?

Why on earth call would you call this "tank controls" when it is like the one defining thing tank controls DON'T do?

This was a surprisingly good video the youtube algorithm threw at me for some reason, and it's got me thinking about how reading robot stories as trans allegories even when they might never have been intended that way kind of implies that robot stories work as a way for cis people to train themselves to understand the trans perspective, both audiences and authors.

I think it may have helped me as well on some level. This will stick with me for a while I feel...
