This morning.
Ninety-three million miles away, hydrogen fuses into helium under immense pressure and heat. Neutrons and photons are thrown off. Those photons take millions of years to escape the sun, then travel across the vast distance to cascade down, through my wintry window and light up this tomato to my simple-minded delight.
