imo I did a lot of caring and supportive things this con — offering ppl closeness & touch as aftercare for fire alarms or [unknown stressful event], offering/bringing ppl drinks b/c they needed them, steering oblivious (in the moment) ppl around other(s) trying to signal that the current topic was bad for them, helping ppl process & reframe panic spirals

stuff that requires paying attention to other people and taking initiative
