@tilton I was pondering setting up a retro gaming area for my Colecovision until I realized yesterday that my old Colecovision no longer functions (which, honestly, isn't at all surprising, since they were delicate even in the 80s). Also, CRT displays are now bonkers expensive.

@tekootter Yeah, stuff got out of control :( I’ve had this TV for like 8 years so it was only $50 when I bought it. They’re quickly becoming unobtanium. Sigh!

@tilton @tekootter Last year or so @heavyrocksboar spent a chunk of change plus shipping on an old CRT medical imaging monitor, so he could play his retro video game systems on it XD
