It’s 768 miles from Chapel Hill to Chicago and Google Maps says it takes 12 days to walk. That’s 64 miles a day. Alternatively I could ride a bike and do it in 3 days, or 256 miles a day 😂

Well.. If you walk 24/7, it's about 2.7 miles / hour (or for the rest of the world 4.2 km/h)

That's quite good speed...if you never slow down or stop to pee.😉

That said... I would have problems walking 15-20 miles a day.🤣

Math - it works, but sometimes the problem is that the real world works differently.😉

@tayfonay Is it mostly dedicated bike infrastructure, or will you have to brave bike lanes along busy roads for some of it?

@CoachMark Even in my best cycling days… no 😂 the longest ride I ever did in one day was the ride across Indiana, which was around 160 miles.
