I've tried the expensive curry place again, but it's proving a disappointment. It was so good that first time, and none of the curries since have had the "tongue buzz".

I thought maybe it could be spiciness, so I ordered tonight's curry one step spicier than normal, and sheesh-

A) they have no brakes. It's either mild or SPICY and fuck you.

B) it's not spiciness. The heat on the tongue is different from the "buzz".

It sorta reminds me of anise.
