The previous years of slow, expensive, meagre upload speeds with ridiculous data caps (unlimited data just $20/month extra) was fine before AT&T showed up apparently.

I’m glad to see just this tiny, tiny gesture of market forces at work. The duopoly still guarantees internet access is remarkably expensive compared to any other country on earth.
