Huge news: the Codices Vossiani Latini, for years behind a €8000-a-year paywall, have just been made open access. This is a huge collection of 300 #medieval #manuscripts, many of them from the earliest years of the Middle Ages.

@litteracarolina @medievodons I studied a lot of what's called "small languages" these days like Chinese, Classical Chinese, Tibetan, Classical Tibetan, Pali, Sanskrit, Tocharian, Nepali, pretty much all IE languages and many more -- and at every turn, I encountered Brill and a book I could not buy and study.
